Looks like there is a date set for "True Blood"...it starts on Sept. 7...yeah

And so it begins. It's been a year since the 200-plus members of the Television Critics Association gathered here in L.A. to preview the upcoming TV season.

HBO finally seems to be getting back on its game. And indeed, it has turned to yet another of its most successful creators, Six Feet Under's Alan Ball, for a new series even darker and more off-beat, a Louisiana-set horror comedy called True Blood, to debut Sept. 7.
