Take a look at these two posters...one for Jennifer's Body and the other for True Blood. They look almost identical, except I think the True Blood poster looks better. I like the fangs, although they could be a little longer. What is this Jennifer's Body anyway? It is about a cheerleader possessed by a demon who begins feeding off of boys in a Minnesota town. What is she possessed by...a vampire...lol? Jennifer's Body seems a bit more like Buffy than True Blood.
A few people have said that they could see someone getting fired over this, how a mistake like this could be made.
I will say I like the True Blood poster better, but I wonder which came first. I could defintley see heads rolling on this one...but wouldn't it be funny if they didn't see each others poster before they came up with the idea...but unlikely.
If you got a True Blood, Red sealed letter, I would love to hear about it. Has anyone decryped the message yet, and if so, what does it say? I love a good mystery.
On May 21, HBO and Campfire, a small independent agency founded by two of the creators of the 1999 film “The Blair Witch Project,” began sending cryptic letters in black envelopes sealed with red wax to people who might generously be described as pillars of the goth community: horror film bloggers, subscribers to the horror movie magazine Fangoria and the like.
If you have any news about or have one of these letters, please tell about it. Did you know what it was when it first came in the mail, or did you have to figure out where it came from?
I was wondering if the True Blood series was going to follow the books or if Alan Ball was going to change things a little. Well it looks like I got my answer.
Ball has gotten to know author Charlaine Harris, who wrote the book series on which "True Blood" is based, and said he's not going to cater to fan demands for a direct book-to-screen translation.
Looks like he will change some things...which I think will be good...it will give him some creative leeway.
I think people sometimes put too much thought into things about what they think something is...
The prejudices Ball's vampires face as a newly visible presence echoes what ABC tried to do with the sitcom "Cavemen" last fall, a situation some chose to interpret as a metaphor for the struggle of gay America or African-Americans.
I don't know where people come up with some of the crap they say. Someone could say something that may not even be true, and people will believe it and spread it along. People read too much into metaphors...or just make them up and see what people will do with the information. I can't stand it when people say stuff thats not true and it then runs like wild fire. I just hope Alan Ball sticks to his creativity.
I got these new pics that are not out anywhere else. They are from the unaired episode of True Blood, which will be airing on Sept. 7.
These are some of my favorite pic that I have. My favorite piture is the one of Sookie and Bill looking at each other...you know, the one where it looks like they are going to kiss. I also like the one of the mysterious lady...I wonder who she is.
I have more pics around the site, so please take a look around and tell me what you think. Keep a look out for more pics to be added to the site.
Looks like HBO is promoting its show through commercials instead of previews. It shows a bunch of guys sitting around a campfire drinking beer, and one of there buddies comes up behind one of them and scares them like he is going to bite the guys neck with his fangs. Then he asks for something to drink and they throw him a tru blood drink.
